Well getting ready to order a MSD RPM Activated Window Switch. Need some advice on which RPM modules should I get. I was thinking of running the following set-up:
#1 - RPM Module Kit....3,000 - 3,800 RPM
#2 - RPM Module Selector(adjustable)....6,000-8,200 RPM
Going to activate the NOS at 3500rpms and deactivate it at 7000rpms. WHAT DO YA THINK............JAV, JOHN, JIM?

Well that sounds good and I looked into that at one time but the thing I worry about is, will the RPM activated window only open when the WOT switch is engaged also or will it just turn on at 3500 and off at 7000 weather are WOT or not? I would def. do it if the WOT switch ad to be tripped first but the dangers of spraying too early would be kinda high if not at WOT since we are relying on our supercharger fuel enrichment and not a sole N2O enrichment. Does the window switch work as a stand alone or just a add on to current MSD units? I wonder if we could hook something up kinda like the boost dependant activation that turbo guys use, only instead of it cutting off once XXpsi is reached, it would only turn on at XXpsi. Since we have to be at WOT to see our topside boost pressure it would work great I'd think.

Mr. Rogers...the MSD window switch is a stand alone item...basically it supplies a signal when you rpm's are within the range that you specified with the pills on the unit...what you do is layer everything together...there will be a few variables that will decide if the NOS will fire....first is the on/off switch for the system...if that is on...then the next will be the WOT...if you floor it and the WOT is activated....then the last variable will be the window switch....if you floor it at 2000 rpm's....the window switch won't let the NOS fire until it reaches say 3000 rpm's....then the NOS will fire until it reaches the end of the window...or you let off the gas...thats basically it...you just nned to figure out all the signal types and wire it together

Hey Bigkat , I have a used msd window control module that I got off my buddies nos, turbo , mustang, it needs some new pills cause i think the ones in it are different from what you need. I obtained to do what you are doing , but i sold my blower and selling my car. You are more than welcome to it, for i would like to see this setup in use. e-mail me with your address([email protected])and i will send it out.

Well that is all good ig you can wire it up in a series (I think) so that it has to have a signal from the WOT b4 it activates with in the window. Well Bigkat, when will you have yours and when will it be operable? I want to see how it works but I am sure it will work just right. I think if I do it I'll use it in a smaller window, maybe like 5-8k since I shouldn't fall out of this window when racing 4real and traction will be a problem below this rpm. Keep us posted

Reggie...
I like the way you think man !!!
Here is the important trick to using the window module: Make sure that you are NOT activating the NOS before your launch RPM... that is, if you leave the line at 3500 rpm, have the NOS turn on at 4000. Launching on the laughing gas is less controllable.
